Getting good merchant processing is not just about finding the lowest rate. Most merchants don’t realize how slim most merchant processor profits are in the current market. The majority of fees go to MasterCard and Visa and we earn a few pennies and a few hundredths of a percent over that to cover our overhead. Everyone pays the same fees to MasterCard and Visa whether you are the smallest ISO or the biggest bank. These base costs are called Interchange Fees. What we will do is show you what the base costs are for processing (we will show you the Interchange Fees) so you know how much profit we are earning and how much your current processor is earning.
